Chorley & District Alliance League

The Chorley and District Alliance League is a league with a strong heritage and bright future. The league was established in 1894 as the Chorley & District Sunday School League and has been successfully providing the opportunity for amateur footballers in and around Chorley to play the game they love ever since. The League changed its name to the Chorley and District Alliance League in 1934.

The league is currently run by a passionate committee of football lovers including the League Secretary John Haydock. John Haydock is the driving force behind the Chorley and District Football League and has been running it for over 50 years since the 1955-56 season.

When John took over the league it boasted 2 divisions with 20 teams in each. Nowadays the league is much smaller but is still a fantastic league to enjoy your football.
